Steel bending manufacturers said that bending is the stamping process of bending metal plates, pipes and profiles into a certain curvature, shape and size of the workpiece. Bending forming is widely used in the manufacture of high-pressure vessels, boiler drum, boiler furnace tube, hull steel plate and bone ribs, various utensils, instrumentation components and box and cabinet insert strips.

The precision and error of steel bending need to be understood. In fact, the machining accuracy here refers to the actual geometric parameters of the parts after processing, including size, shape and position, and the degree of conformity with the ideal geometric parameters. Then there's its economic accuracy. There are many factors that affect the processing accuracy in the process of bending and hot bending, so the same processing method of steel bending can achieve different accuracy under different working conditions. Of course, the economic precision of a certain processing method should not be understood as a certain value, but should be understood as a range, in this range can be said to be economical. The next thing to pay attention to is the original error of steel bending. Generally speaking, the original error of the process system mainly includes the geometric error of the process system, the processing error caused by the force deformation, the processing error caused by the thermal deformation of the process system and the redistribution of the stress in the workpiece. The resulting deformation of the workpiece and the principle error of the shear piece, adjustment, measurement, etc.

According to the characteristics of the process, steel bending can be divided into top bending, bending, rolling and bending. As far as the current situation is concerned, steel bending is actually a commonly used bending method. Most of the equipment used is a general mechanical press or hydraulic press, and there are also special bending machines. The commonly used roll bending equipment is a plate bending machine. Another point is that the ordinary three-roll bending machine is based on the principle of three-point circle, the slab for continuous steel bending. Comes with two drive rollers (fixed) and one pressure roller (adjustable). The relative distance between the roller and the drive roller can be changed by adjusting the upper and lower positions of the roller. Therefore, when the steel is bent, the plate is placed between the driving roller and the pressing roller, and the driving roller rotates in the positive and negative directions to make the plate move back and forth. It should also be noted that by adjusting the pressure roller to gradually reduce, the plate can be bent into a small curvature of the cylindrical surface, conical surface and hyperboloid. One end of the press roller can be raised to facilitate workpiece unloading. There are also four-roll and multi-roll bending machines. The four-roller plate bending machine is used for rolling thick plate rollers. The multi-roller bending machine with more than four rollers uses multiple pairs of rollers to gradually bend the plate into complex profiles. Now the company has newly introduced a number of large-scale intermediate frequency bending machines and large-scale bending machines, numerical control core-pulling pipe bending machines, large-scale top bending machines and large-scale rolling machines, with bending pipe diameters up to 820mm.
