Stamping bending is a stamping process in which metal plates, pipes and profiles are bent into workpieces with certain curvature, shape and size. Pull bending forming is widely used in the manufacture of high-pressure vessels, boiler drums, boiler tubes, hull steel plates and ribs, various utensils, instrument components, box inserts, etc.
The stretch bending plant indicates that when the material is stretch bending, the stress state of each part of the deformation zone is different. The undeformed part in the middle of the section is called the neutral layer. The metal outside the neutral layer is tensile deformed by tensile stress. The metal within the neutral layer is subjected to compressive stress, resulting in compressive deformation. Since the stress and strain directions of the metals on both sides of the neutral layer are opposite, when the load is removed, the elastic deformation and recovery directions of the metals on both sides of the neutral layer are opposite, causing different degrees of elastic recovery. Although the stretch bending deformation is limited to a local area of the material, the elastic recovery will affect the accuracy of the bent part. There are many factors that affect recoil, and these factors are difficult to control. The precision problem of stretch bending parts caused by backlash has always been the key to the production of stretch bending forming.

According to the characteristics of the process, the bending can be divided into top bending, bending, rolling and bending.
Bending is a common bending method. Most of the equipment used is a general mechanical press or hydraulic press, and there are also some special bending machines. The commonly used rolling bending equipment is a plate bending machine. The three-roll bending machine continuously bends the slab according to the principle of determining a circle at three points. The three-roller plate bending machine has two drive rollers (fixed) and one pressure roller (adjustable). The relative distance between the pressing roller and the driving roller can be changed by adjusting the upper and lower positions of the pressing roller. In drawing and bending, the plate is placed between the driving roller and the pressing roller, and the driving roller rotates forward and backward to move the plate back and forth. By adjusting the pressure roller to gradually press it down, the plate can be bent into a cylindrical surface, a conical surface and a hyperbolic surface with a small curvature. One end of the lower roller can be raised to facilitate unloading of the workpiece. In addition, there are four-roll and multi-roll bending machines. The four-roller plate bending machine is used to roll thick plate cylinders, and the multi-roller plate bending machine with more than four rollers is used to gradually bend the plate into complex profiles.
The stretch bending factory said that for bending parts with high precision requirements, large length and radius of curvature, and small transverse dimension requirements, stretch bending can be carried out on a special stretch bending machine tool. When bending, the entire thickness of the plate is subjected to tensile stress, so that only elongation deformation occurs, and the deformation caused by rebound after unloading is small, which is easy to ensure accuracy.
